News on the Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC)

On March 11, 2021 the American Rescue Plan Act was signed into law, which made health insurance more affordable for many Americans. This Act removed the federal income cap that may have made your clients ineligible for financial assistance.

To be eligible for an Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC), your clients must purchase a plan through Access Health CT.

If your client currently has an APTC, they may now qualify for more assistance. Let your clients know they will need to update their application on Access Health CT.

We’ll send a mailing to members in July, based on the plan they’re currently enrolled in. View mailers below:

Members enrolled in a SOLO plan

For members who elect to switch plans, ConnectiCare will be crediting deductibles with covered expenses that were incurred on their former ConnectiCare plan.

We’re here to help you if you need assistance. Call Broker Services at 800-723-2986 (TTY: 711).

A New, Streamlined Small Group Employer Application
