Improvements, updates, and next steps on future releases

We are working diligently to increase functionality and improve processes on the secure broker website with the goal to better serve you in a faster and more accurate way. We’d like to share some recent updates for various lines of business and give you a look ahead to what will be in future updates.

Recent updates: Individual clients

Improvements to quoting experience including:
o Updates to plan filtering and selections that make it easier to find and select plans that meet clients’ needs.
o Faster identification of generated quotes with the addition of prospect name and date stamp.
View and download billing invoices and commission statements as PDFs or Excel files.
Updates to data and document displays in commissions and premium billing sections, including:
o Billing
See up to 24 months of data (where available).
Invoices feature one of the following options for current payment status (as appropriate):
Late without payment
Late partial
Partial payment
Paid in Full
Unpaid
Refund
o Commission – View YTD commission and monthly commission in a tabular form, with the ability to:
Breakdown by client
Breakdown by agent
Sort by client ID/client name
Download as PDFs or Excel files

Recent updates: Large group clients

Under a specific client within your book of business, you can download a complete client roster.
View and download billing invoices and commission statements as PDFs or Excel files.
Updates to data and document displays in commissions and premium billing sections, including:
o Billing
See up to 24 months of data (where available).
Invoices feature one of the following options for current payment status (as appropriate):
Late without payment
Late partial
Partial payment
Paid in Full
Unpaid
Refund

Expanded information on saved quotes with side-by-side views of plan information in PDF format.
Email quotes directly from the secure site to prospective members.

Adding open enrollment to the category drop down list under ‘Book of business’ in change plan.

Commercial plans

Massachusetts plans featuring WellSpark Health

Great news: We’ve increased the number of plans available to your Massachusetts clients. All Massachusetts plans now include wellness rewards through WellSpark. Members can earn up to $75 to use at popular online or retail businesses by taking a health assessment, receiving their preventive care exam, and completing a physical activity challenge.

Make sure to include ConnectiCare when quoting your Massachusetts clients. Learn more about our 2021 plans and wellness rewards.

Special enrollment period for uninsured individuals

Access Health CT opened a special enrollment period allowing uninsured individuals to enroll in a 2021 plan through March 15. For individuals who enroll in an off or on-exchange plan between February 15-28, coverage will be effective March 1. Individuals who enroll between March 1-15 will have coverage effective April 1.

We will pay commission on 2021 enrollments during this special enrollment period. Learn more about our commission plan.

Bert Wachtelhausen, president of WellSpark Health, was featured on the Barbara’s Banter podcast in an episode titled “Take a Walk, Set a Boundary, Be a Leader.” She joined Barbara Lang, managing principal and CEO of Lang Strategies, and Brian Boyer, founder and CEO of The Boyer Group, to discuss maintaining health, balance, and leadership skills during this unprecedented time.
