When using Find a Doctor, you’ll notice we made it easier to search for EmblemHealth Prime network providers. Simply select the EmblemHealth Prime Provider Directory link under plan type or network. Also featured is a helpful pop-up map that shows the 28 counties included in the network.

Please note that online enrollment for small groups should continue to be processed on the CBIA agent site or Access Health CT SHOP broker portal, respectively.

Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Options
During the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period from Jan. 1 through March 31, Medicare members may make one election and will have the option to enroll in a different Medicare Advantage plan or to choose Original Medicare only. Here are some things to know:
• |
Individuals enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan and new Medicare beneficiaries who are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan during their Initial Coverage Election Period can make a change during Open Enrollment.
|
• |
Individuals enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan may add or drop Part D coverage during the Open Enrollment Period. Individuals enrolled in either a Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plan or Medicare Advantage plan without drugs can choose to switch to:
o |
A Medicare Advantage plan with a prescription drug plan
|
o |
A Medicare Advantage plan without drugs
|
o |
Original Medicare (with or without a stand-alone Part D plan)
|
|
The effective date of a Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period election is the first of the month following receipt of the enrollment request.
Note: The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period does not provide an opportunity for an individual enrolled in Original Medicare to join a Medicare Advantage plan. It also does not allow for Part D changes for individuals enrolled in Original Medicare, including those enrolled in stand-alone Part D plans. The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period is not available for those enrolled in Medicare Savings Accounts or other Medicare health plan types (such as cost plans or PACE).
