Extension of Special Enrollment Period
Did you know the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) made health insurance more affordable by removing the federal income cap that may have once made your clients ineligible for financial assistance? And now Access Health CT extended their special enrollment period, giving uninsured individuals until Oct. 31, 2021 to enroll in a 2021 plan effective Nov. 1, 2021.
So reach out to your clients who may have gone without coverage or to those who previously didn’t qualify for financial assistance to see if they now qualify for an advanced premium tax credit (APTC).
To determine eligibility and run quotes, visit accesshealthct.com or call Broker Services at 800-723-2986.
And remember, we will pay commission on 2021 enrollments during this special enrollment period. Learn more about our commission plan.
